Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 5 October 2026

This is a draft policy for the Reachline service, prepared for a Ghana-based operation. Have a Ghana-qualified lawyer review it and confirm that it reflects your company, actual service, provider agreements, pricing, and applicable law before publishing it as binding terms.

These Terms govern access to and use of Reachline, including its website, account dashboard, contact tools, SMS campaigns, sender ID requests, and related features (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and provide accurate, current account and business information. Keep your login credentials confidential, restrict access to your account, and promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for actions taken through your account.

2. Service and SMS delivery

The Service lets business users prepare, schedule where available, and submit SMS messages through third-party telecommunications and messaging providers. Delivery depends on those providers, mobile networks, recipient devices, and regulatory requirements. We do not guarantee delivery, delivery time, or uninterrupted availability.

Messages may be delayed, filtered, rejected, or undeliverable. A provider’s acceptance of a message for processing is not proof that the recipient received or read it. Message segments, encoding, destination, and provider pricing can affect message costs.

3. Your messages, recipients, and legal compliance

You are responsible for the content and recipients of every message sent using your account. You must have an appropriate legal basis and any required consent or authorisation to contact each recipient, identify yourself accurately, honour opt-out requests, and maintain evidence of consent where appropriate.

You must comply with applicable Ghanaian law and any other laws that apply to you or your recipients, including applicable privacy, electronic communications, consumer protection, marketing, and telecommunications requirements. Do not send unsolicited, deceptive, fraudulent, threatening, unlawful, or harmful content; impersonate another person or organisation; or use the Service to distribute malware, phishing links, or prohibited material.

4. Sender IDs

Sender IDs may require review or registration by Reachline, a messaging provider, a mobile network, or a regulator. Approval is not guaranteed and may be withdrawn, suspended, or restricted. You must only request and use sender names that you are authorised to represent. We may reject a request or suspend use when required for compliance, provider rules, security, or prevention of abuse.

5. Credits, fees, and payments

Where the Service uses SMS credits, the dashboard or checkout flow will show the applicable package and price information. Credits are consumed according to the Service’s displayed rate and message segmentation. Payment processing may be provided by third parties and is subject to their terms.

Admin or support sends that do not deduct account credits may still incur charges from the underlying SMS provider. Any refund, expiry, or adjustment is subject to the package terms displayed at purchase and applicable law. Contact support through the account or payment channel shown in the Service if you believe a charge is incorrect.

6. Data and privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. You must only upload or submit personal information that you are authorised to use and must provide any required notices to your contacts.

7. Availability, changes, and suspension

We may update, change, or discontinue features, including where needed for security, maintenance, provider requirements, or legal compliance. We may restrict or suspend access if we reasonably believe an account violates these Terms, threatens the Service or another person, or creates legal or regulatory risk. Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.

8. Intellectual property

Reachline and its licensors retain rights in the Service, software, design, and branding. You retain rights in content you provide, and grant us permission to process it only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and support the Service and deliver your requested messages.

9. Third-party services

The Service may rely on SMS gateways, mobile networks, hosting, email, payment, analytics, and notification providers. Their services may have separate terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party networks or services outside our reasonable control.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as available” basis, without warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Subject to that restriction, Reachline is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or loss caused by recipient data, message content, provider or network failure, or your failure to comply with these Terms.

11. Governing law and changes to these Terms

These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Ghana, subject to mandatory protections and rules that apply in the place where a user resides or operates. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Ghana, where permitted by law. We may revise these Terms; the revised version will be published here with an updated effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms where such acceptance is legally effective.

12. Contact

For questions about these Terms, contact Reachline using the support contact shown in your account or on the website. A business postal address and designated legal contact should be added here before publication.
